We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our design team of four professionals and contribute to exciting projects for clients that include: Window World, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Citizens Bank & Trust among others.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Graphic Designer at DAA, you will be responsible for developing eye-catching creative that resonates with our clients’ target audiences.
You will work closely with our account services team to develop engaging graphics for outdoor, print, digital, video and audio platforms. This position will need to be filled by someone who can work in person with us at our Baton Rouge office.
In addition to generating original content, your responsibilities will include a wide array of creative production tasks, including adapting and customizing approved designs into a variety of sizes and formats, as well as encoding videos and audio files for streaming and broadcast platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop innovative design concepts.
- Execute design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Adapt designs for various mediums, including outdoor, print, web, and social media.
- Create animated motion graphics using After Effects.
- Develop logos, corporate identity packages, and branding campaigns.
- Participate in studio critiques as part of the creative development process.
- Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine designs.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Full working knowledge and extensive experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, is a must.
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Production techniques for outdoor, print, and digital media with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise and accurate designs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary.
- Capable of engaging with clients through meetings, calls, and presentations.
- Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to accept constructive feedback.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with additional design software and tools (specifically Creatopy, Webflow, and Adobe Audition) would be greatly beneficial.
- Illustration skills would be a significant plus, but not required for this position.
