DAA Media+Marketing Announces New Era of Leadership following Transfer of Ownership

DAA Media + Marketing, a Baton Rouge based advertising powerhouse previously known as Diane Allen and Associates, is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its history with a change in leadership. Nancy Steiner and Donny Charbonnet have successfully transferred ownership of the agency from founders Diane Allen and Al McDuff, ushering in a new era of innovation and growth. 

This transition represents an exciting chapter for DAA Media + Marketing, building upon its solid foundation while infusing fresh perspectives and forward-thinking strategies. With extensive experience and a shared vision for success, Steiner and Charbonnet are poised to continue to lead the agency to new heights in the rapidly evolving advertising landscape. 

Steiner and Charbonnet are graduates of LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication and began their roles with Diane Allen & Associates as interns. Their strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and passion for delivering outstanding results for clients have been instrumental in driving the agency’s continued success. 

As part of this transition, Steiner and Charbonnet express their deep gratitude to agency founders and former partners Diane Allen and Al McDuff for their invaluable contributions to the agency’s growth and achievements. They are committed to honoring the agency’s heritage while charting a new course for continued success and growth.

DAA’s current client roster includes Baton Rouge-based businesses such as Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Window World, Baton Rouge General Hospital, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, Shell, Citizen’s Bank, Louisiana One Call and Port of Greater Baton Rouge. 

Under the new leadership, DAA Media + Marketing remains committed to its core values of excellence, collaboration, and client satisfaction. The agency will continue to provide a comprehensive range of cutting-edge services, including omnichannel media solutions, in-house traditional and digital media buying, comprehensive reporting and data analytics, and creative services – including corporate identity, branding, and campaign development.

DAA Media + Marketing is proud to announce the promotion of Brittany Sadlouskos to the position of Vice President. Formerly serving as the Director of Media Services, Sadlouskos has exemplified exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and dedication, making significant contributions to the agency’s success.

In Sadlouskos’s previous role as Director of Media Services, she demonstrated an unparalleled ability to innovate and execute highly effective media strategies that drove tangible results for our clients. She consistently exhibited a keen understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and emerging trends, positioning our agency as a leader in the industry. Her leadership on the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers account has proven invaluable as the agency has scaled to grow in tandem with the client.

As Vice President, Sadlouskos will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s future trajectory, overseeing key operations, fostering client relationships, and spearheading new initiatives. She will bring her wealth of experience, strategic acumen, and passion for excellence to further elevate DAA’s position in the market.

DAA named one of 2023 Best Places to Work

DAA named one of Baton Rouge’s 2023 Best Places to Work

DAA was recently named as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge, placing 2nd in the 15-250 employee category and 5th overall. The awards program is a project of the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and the Greater Baton Rouge SHRM, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group.

Companies from across the region entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. The first part consisted of evaluating each company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

This survey and awards program was created in 2014 to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Baton Rouge, benefiting its economy, its workforce and businesses. 2023 was the first year DAA met the minimum number of employees in order to qualify for entry.

DAA and Clear Channel Outdoor welcome Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers to Times Square

In partnership with Clear Channel Outdoor, DAA secured a roadblock in Times Square to congratulate Raising Cane’s on the opening of their Global Flagship Restaurant. The DAA media team traveled to New York for the grand opening of the 8,000 square-foot restaurant located in the historic Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway.

The trip was 20 years in the making as DAA began partnering with Raising Cane’s in 2003 when the restaurant had 14 locations throughout south Louisiana. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is now one of America’s fastest-growing restaurant companies with more than 700 restaurants in 36 states.

DAA manages all aspects of Raising Cane’s Media, including: research, planning, buying, invoicing, creative versioning and trafficking, reporting and continuous campaign monitoring and optimizations.

DAA’s Maia Meadors elected to AAF-Baton Rouge Board of Directors

Maia Meadors, a member of AAF-Baton Rouge since 2021, has been elected to its Board of Directors and will be leading the Student Outreach Committee for 2023-2024. Maia was previously an integral part of the overall concept and graphics for the 2023 American Advertising Awards of Baton Rouge, themed “Let’s Get Physical”.

A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design, Maia joined DAA Media + Marketing in 2019. She has a strong sense of creative thinking partnered with an authentic, genuine nature. As a designer, her talents have greatly contributed to campaigns for Baton Rouge General and Window World. Maia resides in Walker with her husband Ben and daughters River Li and Soleil.

DAA wins Special Judges Award at 2023 American Advertising Awards

DAA was awarded a Special Judges award for our “Son of a Saint” print ad created for Window World. Son of a Saint is an organization established to transform the lives of fatherless boys through mentorship, emotional support, development of life skills, exposure to constructive experiences and formation of positive, lasting peer-to-peer relationships.

Copywriting credit goes to Jerell Thomas of Window World. The ad was designed by Maia Meadors with art direction by Chris Steiner and additional copywriting support by Jim Overbey. The recognition was awarded by judge Jamal Millner, President of M3:GRAFIX based in Roanoke, VA.

The Louisiana-based Window World franchise started in Baton Rouge over 25 years ago and quickly expanded to New Orleans and other surrounding south Louisiana markets. Over the last decade, the franchise footprint expanded into Texas and Florida to serve the major markets of Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Tampa. DAA has worked with Window World for over 20 years providing marketing strategy, media research, planning and buying and development of all creative campaigns.
